There are two different photos are presented including its inside of cinema and its foyer of the cinema.The first photo is inside of cinema, it has lots of seat with a wide movie screen. It is pretty much similar with modern cinema. And at the bottom of this photo, it said âMelbourneâs most modern theatreâ.
And other photo is foyer of Cinema North Reservoir and it looks so fancy with a modern interior. It seems like hotelâs foyer, however, at the bottom of photo, it said âa view of the modern and luxurious foyerâ. Those photos show how fancy the cinema looks like with a modern concept.
According to Kilderry article, interior design of Cinema North Reservoir was revolutionary, with a modern concept combining the comfort and motion picture entertainment. Also Cinema North Reservoir described as a first built with cinemascope presentation in mind providing crying room, deaf aids, fully air conditioned and most recent projection equipment. His statement perfectly matched with the photos that are presented in the paper. This modern and well equipped environment of cinema attracts its audience and it makes Cinema North Reservoir remained popular even though other cinemas in the nearby closed down due to introduction of television and drive-in.
