Comments This particular article is different from much other research that one can find about Alan Finney. The intended audience is the readers of Screen International and they are presented with a powerful and driven figure of Alan Finney. The information circulates around the way in which Finney is leading Village roadshow into international distribution. The information is very useful in that it highlights the plans for Village Roadshow in the future, something those with a vested interest in Village Roadshow or even competitors might take particular note of.

This text adds a lot to the discussion in my field. Throughout the text (being an interview) we are presented with a rather distinct picture of Finney as he was when he was running distribution for Village roadshow - the company he worked for when he was so instrumental in the release of Mad Max. The text is heavily based around commentary and opinions of Finney and thus offering a great insight into they way he might have operated. Furthermore, the text portrays Finney as providing massive support for Australian films, as he looks into launching his 9th home grown production for the year.

Being heavily based around what Finney had said and done at the time of the interview, one can safely assume the credibility of such text as it is an original and accurate source with clear and comprehensive information on offer. The factual nature of the text offers up much logic and whilst there is very little bias to consider, one must note that Finney and what he has said, has heavily influenced the text.
