This article featured in KINO is about the late architect, Aaron Bolot. It provides biographical details about the man stating the various theatres he designed and built in his time, including the Liberty Theatre. This article would interest anyone studying architecture or anyone interested in the history of Australiaâs architecture. It is very informative of Bolotâs work and praises him highly unlike some other articles which have referred to his work as âold fashioned and dullâ (Thorne, R 1981, p.223). The article is important as it informs the reader of the kind of work Bolot did and how he was highly respected within communities around the country. It does not necessarily add any in-depth information into my research but it is a reliable source and the first article I found regarding my cinema topic. The article is an interesting read and importantly informs us of how highly regarded these people involved in theatre were. End comment.
