This article is such like a complaint, which overall not only reports Ausrtalian cinema market but also suggests Australian waiting for the foreign films with their vedio player. |
Synopsis |
The article gives many example of films and film celebrities to connect the content of the whole article to analysis that Canberra always lost premieres and the situation that foreign films usually passed by Canberra but go to Sydney and Melbourne. Even though Canberra has lots of screens and cinemas, such as Electric Shadows and the Centre Cinema, the screenings were cancelled so suddenly that there was no time to change the promotion.
Ronin has adopted a wait-and-see approach, observing its performance in larger cities before making any Canberra bookings.
However, local film buffs can still see much of the best inâalternative'cinema. With the Ronin cinemas, as well as the âprestige'venue of Greater Union Manuka, Canberra is recognized for its film-going culture.
