Synopsis Lumiere despite the ban continued to show the film, as the public had a right to see a film that thousands of others had seen before the ban was enlisted by the government.Owner Coulter had receieved no official warning and stopped airing film " didn't want to put stay through the stress of police shutting down the film". Coulter went on to say how ridiculous the ban was seeing as more than 12,000 people had already seen the film. " Are we children?" - Coulter
