Synopsis |
Under the management of Mr. Robert Meleish, who is well-know in connection with picture successes at the Northcote Theatre, the Newmarket Picture Theatre will be re-opened on Saturday next. The theatre has received and decorated throughout and provided with new seating, floor-clothsm and electric light installation. A Simplex biograph, which is elaimed to be one of the best in the world, has been given to accompaniments provides by a capable operatie orchestra under the diraction of Mr. Geo. H. Brentnall.
For the opening night special attractions have been secured. Mary Pickford in "Hulda from Holland." and Olga Petrova in "The Black Butterfly" being the star features.
On Monday the bill-of-fare introduces Olga Petrova in "Extravagance." Charles Chaplin in "Easy street," and Lilian Walker in "Kitty McKey."
Next Thursday will be presented Frank Keenan in the Triangle super-feature "Sina Ye Do." and Owen Moore and Marguerite Courlot in the Paramount comedy drama, "The Kim." |
