Synopsis I met Emily Faulkner (50) when visiting the Fairfiled LIbrary. She told me about the how she had grown up in the area and that the her father used to visit the fairfield theatre on a wednesday night. She thought they screened Australian made short films on that night. Emily told me that the supermarket had taken over the space and still does till today.

This could also be linked back to perhaps the introduction of television which was a reason stated in a later article.
