This is a useful resource, as it does not directly discuss the Austral Theatre, however, it states information that would have directly impacted the Austral Theatre and its audience. It shows that the building that occupied the Austral Theatre had been used as various hotels previously to becoming a theatre and is now occupied by a carpet shop whilst maintaining its original architecture.
