An insert about Trak Cinema in 1997 |
Synopsis |
This insert provides a snapshot of Trak Cinema in July 1997. It provides information on the cinema, ticket prices, the manager, it's best feature, best picture, famous patrons, disasters, weird experiences and anything to add.
It is really just an overview of the cinema at that time and makes reference to the fact that it has been referred to as the 'home of 2001' with its large screen, seating capacity and 'excellent sound system'.
What was interesting was in the section 'anything to add' in which the author makes apparent that the film Angels and Insects was meant to go straight to dvd but ended up doing 10 weeks at Trak.
There is an image of manager Antony Zeccola accompanying the feature.
Overall it is a very brief insert of Trak Cinema and is even comical in its commentary but quite useful in wanting to know random, viable pieces of information on what the cinema was like in 1997. |
