Comments Reliable journal that may empathise with Australian director who have achieved success either In Australia or (as with Peter) overseas.
Synopsis The majority of the interview that structures the body of the article discusses the international pressence of the film. In response to the casting of Depardieu, Weir replies that while he isn't a renound star in America or Australia, his acting status in France and his great ability as an actor ultimately confirmed the casting.

Weir is also in favour of 'grand scaling' his films, using universal themes (as included Dead Poet Society), a film which may be seen as being located anywhere.
