Comments A valuable source for those also interested in the general Australian film industry at the time, the status attributed to Hollywood and the percieved view of Government involvement.
Synopsis Discusses the 'influx of overseas specialists' to work in Australia's film industry, (Twelvetrees is described as a world-famous screen personality), focusing on the employment oppertunities such productions offer to the general workforce, as well as Australia's acting profession.

The film quota is attributed to the trend in local productions, but does note that Hollywood-style salaries are still unrealistic for Australian budgets.

There is also a warning that the quota must not be exploited as an excuse to produce 'second-rate films', and that if Australia's film industry is to recieve the support of the public and survive in the greater film industry, it must produce world-standard productions.
