Synopsis The article investigates why the 'hauntingly, beautiful' film 'Mike and Stefani' was not given a public release when it was completed in 1952. Frizell interviews the film's director, Maslyn Williams, and highlights the forthcoming 1975 Sydney Film Festival where 'Mike and Stefani' will have its first public screening since being put into the'too hard' basket in the 1950s.
