Comments This incident featured in over the four newspaper including Argus, Examiner, Barrier and Miner and Canberra times.It is accident that was happened in Cinema North Reservoir in 1952. Two armed youth held up the manager of the plaza theatre, reservoir. And a manager threw his dinner suit trousers over the barrel of the rifle which was pointing at him through the office grille. The youth were panic and they ran away from theatre and police failed to find those two youths. The police believed that they have been attended the pictures at the theatres earlier.



Cinema North Reservoir remained popular during school holiday periods which means there are lots of youth audience are in the cinema at that time. This article is important for history of Cinema North Reservoir.
