This particular reference is very useful, it has many online review links that are useful although some are outdated since the movie was released in 2002. What is very useful in this reference in the section titled 'Position in National Cinema'. As this particular movie is a story of an inter-racial friendship between a black and a white, auther Eve Bailey has indicated how this film can fits into Australian Cinema.
